KANPUR: Kanpur Development Authority’s (KDAs) 135th board meeting held on Friday passed a proposal of freezing rates of flats constructed under various schemes except Signature Greens Vikas Nagar till March 31, 2023 in the interest of the people of the City.
According to KDA vice-chairman Arvind Singh KDA, it is an effort to give respite to citizens who are interested in having a flat in KDA schemes. The allotment of alternate plots given to the allottees in various schemes of KDA has also been approved by the members.
In the meeting, first of all, the members confirmed the proceedings of the previous meeting held on December 30, 2021 and thereafter a budget for the financial year 2022-23 was presented which was unanimously passed by the members.
Besides, the proposal regarding giving dearness allowance to the serving the retired employees and pensioners was approved by the board.
The board, after a detailed discussion on the proposal, amended the site plans developed by the KDA and then approved the resolution in the interest of local needs and the general public.
To implement Uttar Pradesh Transit Oriented Policy-2022, a proposal was presented before the board for authorizing the Transit Authority UPMRC under the guidance and assistance of the KDA to prepare a zonal development plan under the TOD zone. The members approved it unanimously.
In view of expansion in the activities of the KDA and establishment of ERP system, the proposal related to manpower through e-Gem portal/outsourcing in the KDA to be done in a time-bound manner for quality disposal of government works was unanimously approved by the board.
