SMFG India Credit leases 1,94,000 sq ft at Embassy 247 in Mumbai
Embassy 247 has a total area of 1.18 million sq ft. SMFG India Credit has leased the office space, spread across ground, first & eleventh floor.
NEW DELHI: SMFG India Credit Company, part of Japanese conglomerate Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG) and Singapore’s Fullerton Financial Holdings (FFH), has signed a lease agreement with Embassy REIT for 1,94,000 sq ft space at Embassy 247 in Vikhroli, Mumbai.
Cushman & Wakefield facilitated the transaction for SMFG.
With this deal, SMFG India Credit aims to consolidate its offices in Powai and Andheri into a single office and establish a centralized location for back and mid-office functions for over 2,000 employees. The company’s corporate office will continue to be in BKC.
Swaminathan Subramanian, chief operating office, SMFG India Credit, said, “The facility, which will house over 2000 of our employees. We are looking forward to a long-term partnership with Embassy REIT.”
