MUMBAI: Mhada Mumbai Board’s much awaited online lottery for 4,082 apartments will take place at YB Chavan Centre at Nariman Point at 2pm on August 14.
The flats for various income categories cost up to Rs 4 crore, and are located in Andheri, Juhu, Goregaon, Kandivli, Borivli, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Powai, Tardeo and Sion.
Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will attend the lottery draw, apart from other dignitaries including state housing minister Atul Save, speaker of the legislative assembly Rahul Narvekar, education minister Deepak Kesarkar, minister of tourism, skill development and entrepreneurship M P Lodha, MP Arvind Sawant and bureaucrats.
Around 1.20 lakh anxious bidders have been waiting for the Mhada lottery to be declared since the earlier date of July 18 was deferred. Most have paid deposits ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh for their apartments. The amount will be refunded online to unsuccessful applicants.
Besides the live webcast facility, Mhada has arranged to inform winners by SMS as well. The full list of successful applicants will be uploaded at 6pm on its web site. .
